This restaurant is a real find. An unprepossessing little hole-in-the-wall directly across the street from Riverside's beautiful Mission Inn, it regularly attracts diners away from the Inn's famed dining room. With good reason. This is a barbecue place with some of the very tastiest smoked beef, ham, ribs, links, chicken, etc. that you can possibly imagine. The owner, usually found tending the large bbq smoker on the front sidewalk, is as 'real' as his food. There are a dozen side dishes to choose from, and each is homemade and wonderful. You will have some difficult choices to make. Prices are very modest, too. A restaurant not to be missed.
